U-100 Syringe Units to mL: Conversion Guide
On a U-100 syringe scale, 100 units correspond to 1 mL. The calculator uses this scale to display liquid volume. A syringe unit is not a fixed amount of peptide.
Convert between units and mL
Multiply mL by 100 to obtain the U-100 marking. Divide U-100 units by 100 to obtain mL.
| U-100 marking | Liquid volume |
|---|---|
| 1 unit | 0.01 mL |
| 5 units | 0.05 mL |
| 10 units | 0.1 mL |
| 25 units | 0.25 mL |
| 50 units | 0.5 mL |
| 100 units | 1 mL |
Why concentration matters
Ten U-100 units represents 0.1 mL. At 5 mg/mL, that volume contains 0.5 mg; at 2.5 mg/mL, it contains 0.25 mg. The same marking can therefore contain different peptide amounts. See how to calculate concentration before converting mass to a syringe marking.
Capacity and markings are different
The calculator illustration has a 1 mL capacity. Your syringe may have a different capacity or spacing between markings. A displayed decimal result does not mean your syringe can measure it accurately. Check the actual scale and measurement suitability with a pharmacist or clinician.
What if the result exceeds 100 units?
The calculated volume exceeds the illustrated 1 mL capacity. The illustration stops at full and the calculator displays a warning. Check the entered dose, mass units, vial amount, and solution volume. The tool does not recommend splitting the amount across syringes.
These conversions apply only to the U-100 scale. They must not be applied to other scales. Return to the peptide calculator or review the calculation methodology.
